First and only edition of this anonymous work. Various researchers have suggested Sp. Spachos or Ioannis Kolettis as possible authors, but more thorough research now attributes this anonymous work to Athanasios Psalidas. The Hellenic Nomarchy outlines a plan for the liberation of the Greeks and the resurgence of Hellenism, so that it may regain its identity. The higher clergy is condemned for superstition and a spirit of corruption, and those who remain indifferent—those who are apathetic to the efforts for the nation's restoration—are reproached.
