Publication of the volume "The Handbook of Jamaica for 1966", published by the Jamaica Information Service in 1967. The volume contains historical, statistical, demographic, and general information about Jamaica. The first edition of Jamaica's official government handbook was published in 1881, authored by British civil servant of the Colonial Secretary's Office in Jamaica, Laurence R. Fyfe, and the head of the Government Printing Office in Jamaica, Augustus Constantine Sinclair.
