The Epikataratos is likely to have been the work of J.H. Michon and translated by Abraham Maliakas: he taught at the Patriarchike Megale tou Genous Schole and translated an impressive number of works from French, such as the ‘Apocrtyphes de la Cour Romaine’ and Épitomé de Mythologie grecque.
